A one-minute video overview about the X-Men film version of Quicksilver, hiss powers, abilities and characteristics as depicted in the X-Men movies, and expanded universe.

Confident, arrogant, and somewhat of a kleptomaniac, Peter Maximoff – son of Magneto, is a powerful mutant, who’s primary power, is that of moving at speeds that are imperceivable to humans and most other mutants.

Peter is capable of achieving supersonic speeds, while also capable of thinking and reacting in tandem with his movements. With his mutant power engaged, his overall perception of time is drastically augmented, and slowed to a crawl relative to others – allowing him to manipulate physical objects in the world around him, and alter how external forces, such as gravity, affect him; resulting in his ability to effortlessly throw and lift heavy items, while generating enormous amounts of inertia through his movements. He is even capable performing supersonic micro movements that can be used to generate frequencies capable of destroying objects susceptible to vibrations.

To endure the physical stress of his mutant powers, Peter’s physiology possesses incredible strength and extreme durability, along with an accelerated healing factor and high metabolism.
