The Netherlands is truly a cycling country. Yet the majority of people have no idea what exactly they are doing once they get on that saddle. Professor Arend Schwab from TU Delft has been researching the art of cycling for years. And if you look into that, you discover what a miracle it is that we can balance on such a shaky thing. In this episode, Arend explains that you are constantly almost falling and what physical forces you have to overcome when making a turn.
