This is a short I min vid leading up to the start of Race #3 on Wed night May 14, 2014. Thanks to Yoshko for her effort in making it.

It's funny to some of us out there, because our volunteer race committee mixed up the horn blasts with the actual timed countdown. Which messed-up, those of us following the actual time, but didn't mess up those listening to the horn. So, the start was not fair. In a real race, they would've called everyone back and re-started it over. But this is for fun between friends. And I've done the same thing, when I volunteered to "start races", however, it wasn't caught on video, LOL

(Aside from the little timing foul-up) This vid shows just a brief glance at our weekly Windsurf Racing Series in the greater Seattle area, This series is held every Wed in May and June... in Des Moines, WA. The vid is taken from the end of the Des Moines Pier at the north end of the marina.
