The world of Japanese aftermarket performance knows no few numbers of renowned names in the industry. Established names which goes back to the 80s often can be found in the lore of JDM literature and media filled with stories and legends. Each have their own respectable methods and doctrine in the pursuit of higher performance and speed. Usually a recommended way of tuning or setup that distinguishes their unique style.

So much so that it is often hard for the younger generation of tuners to stand out as credible tuners in the crowd. Unless you are Ryo Teraoka of Seeker, a small but serious Honda specialist dedicated to finding not only the fastest way on the street and circuit, but also the most fun way. Hailing from Suginami Tokyo, Seeker initially began 20 years ago as a scion of Spoon Sports. In fact the titan in Honda tuning gave Seeker the support it needed to succeed and stand out as a sort of 'special ops' tuning firm that could meet the exact needs of the individual Honda enthusiast.

Doing so in style without compromise to performance and quality. The trendy 'boutique' tuner's sense of presentation is reflected very much in the man who runs the outfit. His good match of modern hip and fashion is translated to the exterior of their demo cars and parts while striving for absolute customer satisfaction.

We talk to the man himself at Honda Style magazine's Fun & Run event in Sodegaura circuit in part 2 of a 3 part series of interviews to find out the essence of Honda's best tuners in Japan
