DeFi is flourishing. Since 2019, staking has become a core component of the crypto landscape with TVL in DeFi protocols growing from $700m to just under $200bn. And for those brave enough to navigate through the minefield of DeFi protocols, lucrative yields await.

Although DeFi adoption is growing rapidly, it is still far from mass adoption - with many citing security, regulatory and custodial concerns. But do the rewards of a thriving ecosystem outweigh the risks? And what awaits over the horizon for one of the earliest use cases of crypto?
