Friends of Moon Rocks is a coalition of different enthusiast groups in Northern Nevada representing motorcycles, UTVs, rockcrawlers, and others who recreate at Moon Rocks OHV Area. Despite frigid temperatures, on Saturday, November 7th over 75 volunteers showed up to pickup trash, filling multiple stake bed trucks and trailers. The Bureau of Land Management was also present at the clean-up, picking up trash with their families and members of the community and even providing a pressure washer to clean graffiti off of the rocks. The event ended with a barbecue lunch cooked by local rockcrawler Jeremy Winters.
