I wasn't very clear in the video on why I drain the coolant from above rather than down below. It's because you only have to drain a tiny amount this way and then top it up afterward. I also recently changed my coolant last year when I did my water pump so why replace it as it's still perfectly good.

Another thing I forgot to mention in this video was the bleed procedure. You want to do that after you top off the coolant:

Inside the car, put the key in the ignition, foot OFF the brake, hit the start button. This turns the ignition on. Set your HVAC fan speed to low, temperature to maximum, center button (in the middle of the vents) to hot. Push down on the gas pedal all the way and hold it for 10 seconds. The automatic bleed procedure should be going. You can look inside your coolant reservoir and you should see it spraying out. You can see this procedure in detail by clicking here:
