9-year-old Rimé and his dad Andy pay a visit to the artwork "Hare" (2013) in the museum park of the Fondation Beyeler. The sculpture by German artist Thomas Schütte is watching over the pond behind the museum all year round and fascinates museum visitors of all aged with its unique look.

However, father and son would rather not pet the monumental hare, Rimé thinks it looks a bit like a samurai or ninja protecting the ducks with its “armour”- and mask.

Did you know, that the idea and the model for this artwork came from the artist's little daughter? What fantasy animal would you turn into a work of art?

Find out more about this and other exciting works of the Fondation Beyeler's collection and experience a playful-creative museum visit with the museum game to the series "Das Dingsda im Museum".
