This is probably the simplest and most effective upgrades for your K1 printer.

The K1 being so short and not having the space above the extruder was causing a problem for the cable chain. It was getting pinched between the extruder and the inside top rim of the printer, it also would pinch at the back. I've had the top raise up and move around on me, I've had the chain break apart at the back, I've had the chain bend and deform the back mounting bracket as well. With this simple fix, we're able to prevent those issues from happening.
