Back in 2016, Tesla did away with rain sensors and started to use the auto pilot cameras instead. In 2019, they introduced a new neural net for sensing rain called "Deep Rain". Well, it sucks. It always turns on when there is no rain and it never turns on when there is rain. Until Tesla fixes this in the software, we're only left with workarounds. These are my favorite tips for using the windshield wipers. Let me know what you think in the comments.
