In 2013, Helen and her daughter Meredith, Karl and Nanook, left Beddgelert in North Wales to climb Snowdon. We had no clue that the path we woud walk is one of the hardest paths to walk to the Snowdon Summit.

Snowdon is one of the places we want to scatter Nanooks ashes, as it's the first place he did a real adventure!

Forward to February 2024. Karl decides to venture solo to Beddgelert, to retrace our steps to the summit of Snowdon.

Unfortunately, with no phone signal, he doesn't realise there are severe weather warnings in place. Fog, snow, rain, gale force winds and a severe chill factor are some of the issues he will have to face if he wants to get to the top!


We have been living in our Elddis Encore 255 motorhome "Raymond" since April 2021, when we went fulltime with our rescue husky Nanook, AKA Nookie Monster.

Unfortunately Nanook passed away on Thursday 8th June 2023 after a short battle with cancer and we have been heartbroken by his loss, but he will always be a part of this channel.

In March 2023, Helen bought a 1993 Talbot Express Autosleeper Symphony, as she can't drive Raymond due to driving restrictions.

She now travels solo in "The Nook" when Karl travels solo on his Honda Fireblade motorbike.

We have always wanted to show the magic of nature and the beauty of places, regardless of the time of year.

We do show the ups & downs of vanlife too and we also show motorhome related content.
