A fishing kayak review where I actually go out and use it for it's intended purpose, fishing! Ok, maybe it's less of a review and more of a "come spend a day on the water to try this thing out with me" Today I am out in my new-to-me Oldtown Topwater 106 (which is nearly identical to the Oldtown Sportsman 106) at a local pond chasing after some largemouth bass and pike.

I am really impressed with this boat! It is SO much better than my old Pelican Sentinel 100x Angler. The Oldtown Topwater/Sportsman 106 is truly what a fishing kayak should be, so check out the video to see how it fishes from a first person perspective and I'll give you my thoughts on it as we go. Maybe I'll catch a fish or two while we're at it...
