The Roborock S5 only comes with the gravity tank, meaning water will trickle down towards the pad. So it's important that you remove the water tank after every run or risk having a puddle of water. The S5 Max solves this with its electronic water tank that will only release water to the pad when the vacuum is running.

My observations: Xiaomi RoboRock does not have a dedicated mopping function. With our without the mop, this robot will go about its business in a similar fashion.

Don't expect it to mop like a Braava but it's enough for maintenance cleanups if you want to rid your floors of stubborn dust.

If Xiaomi could somehow update the app and add the mopping feature and change up the cleaning pattern where it has the same back and forth scrubbing motion as a Braava, that would be great!
