Fabrique Bakery | Swedish Bakery in London

If you like desserts as I do, you definitely like cinnamon buns. And if you love cinnamon buns, you must like Swedish baking. I decided to map the best Swedish bakeries in London and where is the best to start this journey if not at Fabrique bakery?

Fabrique is a Swedish bakery which came to London from Stockholm in 2013. Now they have 4 shops around London which are all selling bread and pastries from their main bakery in Shoreditch.

In the memory of my work in Sweden where I experienced Swedish fika with my amazing colleagues every Friday, I decided to visit Fabrique bakery on Friday afternoon.

I had fresh cinnamon and cardamom buns and watched them being prepared right in front of my eyes. What a beautiful Friday!

Each bun cost £3 and is made of fantastic dough, nicely chewy, of excellent quality and baked perfectly. Buns are not too sweet and have a gentle herby flavor, not too rich to overcome the taste of the perfect dough.

We couldn’t leave empty-handed and bought a salmon baguette with Fabrique’s famous sourdough bread and a quarter of rye and cranberry bread for take-away.
