Marilisa wakes up very early in the morning, prepares breakfast, leaves her sleeping children behind, and heads to work. For 54 years, Djanira has been tidying, cleaning, washing, and cooking in a house that isn't hers. Creusa has been working to support her household since she was a child. Feeling the injustice of the treatment given to domestic workers, she begins to fight for their rights. Three individual stories, yet so common to the daily lives of over 8 million domestic workers in Brazil.
