The Playstation VR 2 has been out for about a week now and the flood of reviews with positive titles has been great to see. Though I did not read or watch a single one, because I wanted my first impression to be genuine and not influenced by others’ opinions.

Now, 6 years after my video on the Playstation VR one, I’ve had considerably more experience with VR devices and the industry. So, I am a bit more confident on calling this my honest review.

The TLDR; Playstation VR 2 is a huge step up from its first model and it is the best value headset for its price range. Is it perfect, absolutely not. Does it offer some great experiences out of the box, not really. Do I recommend the headset, it depends. Do I love it, absolutely, I think it’s my new favorite Head mounted display

The Magsafe dongel I'm using is a GTbeans AM15 Magnetic adapter, and its working grate so fare. There is no delay or interference, and the magnet is strong enough to not accidentally fall out during normal play. - No 3D blu ray suppor
- Only Wired Option
