"If I have mental health problems or concerns, does that necessarily indicate I have a mental illness?"

Mental health problems/mental health are;
1. Persistent Sadness or Mood Changes
2. Behavioral changes
3. Difficulty Coping with Stress
4. Thoughts of Self-Harm or Suicide
5. Physical Symptoms without Medical Explanation
It's crucial to recognize that experiencing these signs doesn't necessarily mean you have a mental health disorder, but they may indicate that you're struggling with mental health problems.
However, if you ignore or neglect these symptoms, you may slip into the state of mental illness. Meaning that you may develop a mental disorder when your constant signs trigger repeated distress and impair your functional levels.
The good news is that, these can be reversed. Self-help strategies and Seeking support from trusted friends, family members, non-professionals or mental health professionals is a vital step toward understanding and addressing these issues.
