This is a cover by the American Choral Directors Association Eastern Division Gospel Choir as performed on 16 February 2008, in Hartford, Connecticut, U.S.A.

OPB Reverend Milton Brunson and the Thompson Community Singers who released this in 1982 on the Myrrh vinyl LP label in both the U.S.A. and the U.K.

There is a secular version by the same title. The secular lyrics WHICH ARE NOT THIS SONG were written in August 1969 by the late Robert Dwayne Womack and the late Darryl Carter.

The lyrics by Rev. Brunson and the Thompson Community Singers are as follows:

Can't you see the clouds gathering
Don't let it be said too late
There's a brand new feeling in the air
Better run to the ark before the rain starts
You better come on in this house
It's gonna rain
It's gonna rain (Repeat)
Doors have been
Opened wide open, just call His Name
Don't wait too late because it's gonna rain
Come on, follow me, it's gonna rain (Repeat)
Doors have been
Opened wide open, just call His Name
Don't wait too late because it's gonna rain

These lyrics reference the Gospel of Matthew 24:36-51 and the Book of Genesis chapter 6.
