Injured Manatee rescued by Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission. We were visiting Matlacha Community Park near Cape Coral on Florida's Gulf Coast and we happened upon this rescue taking place. They already seemed to have enough hands on deck, so I thought it would be a good idea to video the event. I always wondered how they move a thousand pound manatee. With great difficulty! Great respect is due to these hardworking folks.
