Hiking The Morgan Trail, Cleveland National Forest, El Cariso Village, CA.

The Morgan Trail is a connector trail that passes through the San Mateo Canyon Wilderness. It takes you to access points where trails cross to go deeper into the Wilderness. One such example is the Tenaja Falls Trail. I used the Bear Creek Trail as my turnaround point to return along the Morgan Trail. Despite being a generally easy hike, the terrain gets rather challenging in hot weather. Therefore, as I did, consider coming here in a cooler time of the year.
