If you are a creator, a NAS is a must have piece of equipment. Essentially, you can dump all of your files and store your documents on your own cloud. Plus, you have access to those files anywhere, from any device.

And lastly, with a powerful enough NAS, it can act as a media server to stream and transcode 4K HDR video, rum VMs, and Docker apps.

In this video, I go over my DIY NAS build under $400 with taxes along with the components and why I chose them over a pre-built Synology or Qnap.
