Average spending on pets is increasing, as premium pet food brands are becoming more prevalent. But are these premium brands worth their price?

Pet owner total spending increased from $41.2 billion in 2007 to $69.5 billion in 2017. Millennials became the largest demographic of pet owners in 2017 at 35%. In 2017, 4,500 new pet food products were introduced, many of which were la bled premium products.
