After arriving home in our Land Rover Discovery, it was time to switch drivers and let Nic take our Land Rover Discovery 2 out for a spin. Unfortunately, this is a 2002 Land Rover Discovery 2 SD7, so our plan didn't work as we had hoped. While sitting in the garage for 5 minutes while we gathered some things, the Land Rover decided it was done for a while. It managed to disconnect the battery, leaving us with no power whatsoever. While it took us a few minutes to figure out what had gone wrong, we eventually tightened the battery cable, and our Land Rover Disco 2 fired right up!

I've owned my 2011 Range Rover HSE LUX for a few years now, and I've had decently trouble-free ownership during that time. Aside from some maintenance, the Range Rover L322 has done very well at being a great vehicle. Unfortunately, just a couple of hours after purchasing our 2002 Land Rover Discovery SD7 with the ARB front bumper, 2003 headlight facelift, and black interior swap, we were already running into issues with it.

After pulling the Land Rover Disco 2 into the garage for a few minutes, we went back out to start it so that we could continue recording for the day. Unfortunately, the Land Rover Discovery wouldn't start. After freaking out and fearing that we had just bought the worst possible example of the Land Rover Discovery, we called the previous owner to see if he had experienced any issues with the Land Rover Discovery 2 not starting. He was quick to answer and let us know that he had disconnected the battery that morning to charge it.

With this newfound information, we opened the hood and reconnected the battery cable to the Land Rover, and our 2002 Land Rover Discovery Series 2 fired right up! From there, it was time for Nic to experience his first time driving our new Land Rover Discovery!

Nobody said Land Rover ownership was going to be easy with our old Land Rover Discovery 2, but so far, things have been great! Aside from this issue and the one we experienced on the way home, our Land Rover Discovery 2 SD7 facelift has been a gem. I've loved getting to use the Land Rover Discovery 2 as a daily driver for the last few days, and I'm very excited and optimistic for months to come with our ownership of the Land Rover Discovery Series 2.

While it may not be perfect and present us with some challenges, it's going to be so much fun getting to learn everything about our new Land Rover Discovery 2 that we bought. I can't wait to share all of our experiences with the Land Rover Disco 2 over the next few months. From off-road challenges to races, we'll be doing everything with our new Land Rover Discovery.
