Recipe: Creamy Chicken over Biscuits

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup half and half
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons dried thyme
1 cup frozen peas
7 leftover chicken tenders (or equivalent)
Instructions:

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Gradually whisk in flour, then add chicken broth slowly while stirring.
Combine milk and half and half, add to the mixture, stirring continuously.
Season with salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. Adjust thickness with additional milk if needed.
Stir in frozen peas and leftover chicken tenders.
Let the mixture warm through while preparing biscuits.
Serve the creamy chicken over warm biscuits.
