Sermon for the 1st of January and the Feast of the Circumcision of Jesus Christ, the 8th Day of Christmas. We speak on the reason that the Rite of Circumcision was central to the Old Testament, how it is replaced by Baptism in the New Testament, why Christ fulfilled all of the Law, and how the Circumcision and Baptism function in the same ways in God’s economy of grace!
