Rev. Wendy Craig-Purcell continues her series on "If the Church were Christian," by sharing about "Authentic Spirituality." In a more authentically Christian church, prioritizing personal exploration over conformity would be key. Rather than strict adherence to rules, there would be encouragement for individual spiritual growth, akin to the dynamic discourse seen in the Sermon on the Mount. Additionally, the focus would shift towards meeting human needs over preserving institutional structures. This aligns with the examples of Jesus and Buddha, neither of whom emphasized building physical establishments.
