Our Tuscany, Italy road trip vlog! We traveled to Tuscany, Italy with our 8 month old baby and my husband's grandma in November of 2019 (before the pandemic)! We had such a great time driving the Tuscan countryside, visiting Florence, San Gimigano, Siena, the coast and partaking in wine tastings! We were surprised to find how many strangers came up to greet our baby with not only a smile but also a friendly hand hold or pat on the head! That is definitely not something we're comfortable with now during the pandemic but didn't mind quite so much at the time! We also visited with my Swiss friend Pia during our time there.

We had so much fun! Something I would change for next time is to stay a few more days! It was such a process to get there with the baby, then adjust to the time difference, I think adding more days would make all the adjustments more worth it! We are all so grateful we made the trip when we did and before the illness. Now Eva is walking and definitely won't sit still during an 8 hour long flight. We just welcomed another girl into our family 3 months ago, making travel even more adventurous! Also, who knows how long it will be until travel restrictions are lifted or when we'll feel safe to travel again.
