I review this 2006 Mini Cooper S with the John Cooper Works package. With 205 hp from a (loudly) supercharged 4 cylinder and a curb weight of only around 2,500 lbs, the R53 Mini Cooper S is still a blast to drive 14 years later. Mini depreciation also makes these quite a performance bargain if you're willing to take the reliability gamble on one.
