We are picking up where we left off on Kohen's C6 Corvette Grand Sport. After all the stuff we have removed, do you think it will start. We finish up the cam install from Matt @ GP Tuning. We get the transmission are rear end full after the circle d 3200 stall converter install. For the front we did use a trunnion upgrade which you saw in the last video. Next because of the cam size we had to install dual valve springs. The requires new valve seals and locators. The kit comes with all you need including titanium retainers and locks. This job is easier with the engine out but with the tools we had Kohen got it accomplished. We added new hardened push rods and bolted the rockers back down with some assembly lube. We did upgrade to an ATI Balancer or Harmonic Balancer for a couple reasons. 1. Corvette has had issues with balancers coming off or going bad. 2. He wants to upgrade to a blower or procharger down the road so we will need the ati for that also. Since he plans to put a supercharger on it we did pin the crank with the kit listed above. It isn't too bad but you don't have a lot of room. It was then time for assembling the rest of the parts we removed and adding fluid. Kohen did upgrade the rear brakes to power stops and we will be doing the fronts as money becomes available. He and I were nervous to start it up but it fired right up and seems to be doing good so far. Hit the Comments and let me know what you think.......
