It's time to start sweet potatoes for the garden. This can be done indoors or in a greenhouse. For most zones in USA, except zones 8 and 9, it's too early to start sweet potatoes outdoors. There are several methods of starting sweet potatoes, but this video shows my favorite as it only takes 1 sweet potato to make hundreds of potato slips(potato plants) by May.

My apologies to the viewers that wanted to see the actual cutting of the potato and replanting of the individual pieces. The footage of cutting it into 5 sections and repotting each one was over 10 minutes, and I wanted to keep the video total length at about 10 minutes, so I decided not to show that. I did show with my fingers in the video where I intended to make the cuts, but in hindsight, I should have at least shown the first cut and repotting. So I made another video where I dig up the cut potatoes and slips and show where I made the cuts, and then repotted them. Thanks for your patience.
