Video tutorial demonstrating how to replace the rear brake pads and rotors on a 13th generation Ford F-150 1/2 ton pickup truck. The truck featured in this video has the electronic parking brake thus requires an additional step to put the rear parking brake into maintenance mode. IF you do not have an electronic parking brake then skip over the maintenance mode step.

01:28 - Retract rear caliper piston
02:36 - Spray rotor with penetrating oil
03:01 - Undo caliper securing bolts
03:51 - Remove rear caliper
04:08 - Remove rear brake pads
04:26 - Remove pad retainer slide guides
04:50 - Clean and lubricate slide pins
06:27 - Remove rear rotors
07:39 - Clean caliper mounting bracket
08:38 - Install new brake pad retainer slide guides
09:04 - Pepare and install rear rotors
09:50 - Install new rear pads
10:52 - Clean and re-install rear caliper
11:21 - Install new caliper securing bolts
11:50 - Fill brake fluid reservoir
13:00 - Prime braking system prior to bleeding
13:42 - Negative pressure bleeding brake system
14:34 - Reinstall rear wheels and lug nuts
15:00 - Torque lug nuts to spec
15:23 - Take vehicle out of brake maintenance mode
