Tomb Raider: Relic of Time follows Lara Croft as she explores ancient ruins around the world in the hopes of finding a powerful artifact which grants its beholder control of the flow of time. Finding the Relic of Time is the only chance for Lara to reverse the airplane accident that tragically killed her father, but the hardships she has to overcome, including a ruthless organization called Trinity, will force Lara to face her deepest fears, unleash her inner warrior, and BECOME THE TOMB RAIDER.

Loosely based on the imagery from Rise Of The Tomb Raider, our goal was to show Lara in a variety of environments we all know and love, including dry deserts, vast mountain ranges, arctic plains and massive waterfalls. The footage was shot across 5 states and many national parks in the USA, including Monument Valley, Zion, Red Rock, Arches, Death Valley and many more. There was no green screen used and all locations were shot live.

Created without any crew or funding, the entire trailer was made by 3 people.

3ds Max & After effects were used to create the wide variety of visual effects, including smoke and fire simulations, destruction with Thinking Particles, lots or rotoscoping and compositing.

Costumes, props, and all make-up were created entirely by our ultra-talented Tahnee Harrison.
