Zahid Hussain, better known by the pen name Wasim Barelvi, is an Indian Urdu-language poet. He was born in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. His ghazals, many sung by Jagjit Singh, are very popular.

ज़ाहिद हसन एक प्रसिद्ध उर्दू शायर हैं जो बरेली के हैं। इनका जन्म ८ फ़रवरी १९४० को हुआ था। आजकल बरेली कालेज, बरेली में उर्दू विभाग में प्रोफ़ेसर हैं।
