The MDX has been subtly updated for 2025 by Acura. The sole components that exhibit minor variations are the grille, wheels, and hood. A mesh pattern is now included on the grille. A 12.3-inch tablet system has replaced the MDX's obnoxious touchpad infotainment system. In the base model, the stereo now comes with two additional speakers, and instead of the standard ELS Studio stereo, a Bang & Olufsen system with nineteen speakers is offered. Bang & Olufsen sound is also available on the priciest Type S, albeit with 31 speakers rather than 12. Additional soundproofing and new laminated rear window glass, according to Acura, have reduced passenger noise. Acura has improved the functionality of several driver-assistance functions in the MDX and installed a system that reminds passengers to fasten their seatbelts in all versions.
