This is day 3 from our 18 day, 720 mile bike tour through Europe on the EuroVelo 15 bike path. Our route follows the Rhine river from the source of the river (Oberalppass in Switzerland) to Cologne in Germany.

Biking day 3 - Chur, Switzerland to Ruggell, Liechtenstein. Biked from 11a-6p today, 39.4 miles. It was another amazing day. We took our time, savored all the beauty that one would pass in a car in the duration of a few seconds and made it last hours.
We started the morning loading up on chocolates, cheeses, breads and other snacks. We pumped up our tires at a bike shop, we were seriously under inflated. Our picnic spot was along a wall that looked like it was built 100's of years ago, on a hill top surrounded by grape vines and black berries, with a view of the valley below, and music from horns being played somewhere far far in the distance, and like clock work watching the red trains shoot across every 15 minutes. The whole day was a nice gradual downhill, the last 2 hours of the day we were just cruising at 12 mph, riding along the river on perfect pavement. Crossed over the Rhine into Liechtenstein and posted up for the night in a new country.
Had a minor crash into a fence, but other than a little brush with some stinging nettles, no injuries.
