As a builder, I get a lot of questions from people wanting to know if I have used insulated concrete forms (ICF's) for the above ground walls in the homes I've built. There are five main reasons why I haven't used them. This video goes into the potential problems with ICF construction including moisture/mold, lack of skilled labor trained in using them, costs (and I give the cost difference as of today), and so on.
