Ford Australia is known here as the Mustang and Ranger brand, but that's unfair to the SUV range the brand is building, which is a competitive set of models across different size brackets. While you might be able to level the criticism that the Ford Escape isn't very interesting, the same can't be said for the Ford Puma, which our man Andrew Chesterton has just spent three months getting to know.
Chesto reckons that being interesting is vital in the small SUV segment. There are literally dozens of light SUV and small SUV choices out there, and not all crossover models put fun, excitement and interesting design at the top of their to-do lists.
The model Andrew spent time with was the mid-spec ST-Line, which is a pricey little unit, but offers plenty of tech, safety and fun for the money.
