Major General (Dr.) Gagandeep Bakshi is a retired Indian Army officer from Jammu and Kashmir Rifles. HE has been felicitated with many awards like 'Vishisht Seva Medal'. 'Sena Medal', etc. for his distinguished services. He has served 2 tenures at the Directorate General of Military Operations. He has published 24 books and over 110 papers on matters related to military and non-military.
