Lines in the lawns - Consider how and when people will see the lines most often...meaning try to lay your lines so they look good as cars drive by OR from your homeowner's perspective looking out of their home!!

Trim to the right / Edge to the left - This all has to do with the rotation of the trimmer head. Most spin counterclockwise which means if you trim moving to the right and edge moving the left, you will not be going against the rotation!!

Mowing the same pattern EVERY time - You have to change up your lines! Even if that means simply cutting your lines in half so your mower's tires are in the middle of your existing stripe.

When you see a for sale sign - in your customer's lawn that is...make sure you proactively try to keep that account if you do want to continue mowing it after your customers move out. Tell them to pass along your info or send the people moving in a letter!
