Is the Porsche 718 Spyder better than the Cayman GT4? I think that’s a question many people have with these two amazing cars from Porsche. But, the fact that both the Spyder and the GT4 share a lot of components and have similar pricing doesn’t mean they the same. Having driving the GT4 I was really excited to see what the 718 Spyder had to offer because the one in this video is equipped with a 6 speed manual transmission

The Spyder may not appeal to many as the true track oriented car, but given the convertible experience and it having the same 4 liter naturally aspirated engine makes up for some of the track “oriented-ness” that it losses against the GT4. The Spyder name also carries a lot of weight within the Porsche brand. Many iconic convertible cars carry that very special Spyder nameplate and having it on the 718 also makes it very special
