Mega Coaster Kondaa in Walibi Belgium is the fastest, highest and probably the best roller coaster in the Benelux! But how does a roller coaster designer ensure that the roller coaster always reaches the end? We find out how potential energy is converted into kinetic energy and how this is used in the design of a roller coaster. We also find out how much energy is needed for 1 ride and what the balance is of this mega coaster. In addition, we talk to the project manager of the manufacturer Intamin about the future of the Mega Coaster, new Intamin roller coasters and what makes Kondaa such a special coaster?
