My Ford GT is even better than ever thanks to a visit to QuickSilver to install the very latest GT LM style exhaust! Not only do we have a huge step up from the stock sound, but an exhaust that matches the looks of the American supercar. What an epic upgrade to my favourite Shmeemobile!

Last year, we installed a QuickSilver Special Projects exhaust system that was developed using my very car, made from inconel and weighing only 5.4kg. Since then, QuickSilver's demand for Ford GT exhausts has increased dramatically so as a result, the team have gone even further and created a "V2" offering with 3D printed inconel exhaust tips with a GT LM style design. The new system maintains the weight reduction despite additional heat shielding - which also carries an OEM look under the car - while helping to reduce temperatures.

Ford produced a limited edition of the GT, named the GT LM, to pay tribute to the Le Mans racing history and success, but for European cars they were delivered with standard exhausts and not the special offerings available in the United States and other regions. Naturally, demand from customers arrived to create something of that nature, and with so many amazing links and connections of my own car to the heritage and past, it's a no brainer to upgrade to the latest offering.

The Shmeemobiles are all about their memories, and the Ford GT is absolutely top of the list. After visiting the US for a massive tour back in 2019, we fast forward 5 years later, and it's time to head over again! First up will be a tour to Texas and joining the GT1 Sports Club for an outing at Circuit of the Americas before plenty more fun ahead.
