While high-end powered air personal respiration (PAPR) masks (from 3M and the like) cost well over $500, the Broad Airpro is a fraction of the price. There are reasons for that, of course. The Broad Airpro is NOT a professional-level PAPR. It's an inexpensive consumer-grade unit.

A restrictive face mask can cause chest pain. If wearing a conventional N95 or lesser mask causes discomfort, the Broad Airpro is well worth a look.
