River Bronze - The Pursuit Of A 20 Episode 5
Welcome to River Bronze, which is all about river smallmouth bass. In this journey, my goal is to become a better river smallmouth angler, and it isn’t complete until I successfully land a 20” smallmouth bass on camera.

In today’s episode, I returned to the river in my kayak with hopes of connecting with one of those big brown fish. While it seems the topwater bite fizzled out a bit, there was definitely still a lot of fish around. After making the adjustment to a twitching plastic, I caught several fish that morning and was able to keep moving water. As the sun got higher in the sky, it seemed like the bass slowed down and started to position tighter to shaded cover. That is when the little Yum Dinger paid off.
