40% TO 70% have experienced symptoms of VR Sickness (Cybersickness). There are many theories to why we experience motion sickness, but most of them include a sensory conflict between our eyes and ears. VR, like the oculus quest 2, causing something called Vection (visual illusions of self motion), but our ears don't sense it, causing cybersickness. Here are 5 eye tips to help:
-20/20/20 rules: take a break every 20 minutes
-Have a correct IPD
-Wear your visual correction
-Wear contacts or VR prescription lenses if you can
-Ocular-motor exercises (research is lacking with this one)
