Covid has shown us once again how “necessity is the mother of invention (and implementation)”. We have had the capacity for accelerated virtual care for several years, but it took a pandemic to force the implementation and scaling and supersede the traditional incentive structures that represent headwinds for virtual care. What does the pandemic-induced acceleration of deployment and scaling teach us about future evolution of innovation and deployment of wearables? How do we envision a target future state that can guide a roadmap to that solutions set? These issues may not be as mysterious as they appear.
