@IssaRaePresents #ShortFilmSundays - a new short by a new creator, the first Sunday of every month.

"Roubado" tells the story of Alain Castelo, an introverted Afro-Portuguese teen growing up in the south of France. As he suffers his parents' recent breakup, the only solace he can muster is his penchant for photography. When his mother's new live-in boyfriend crosses the line, his eyes are opened to the world and he can no longer hide behind the viewfinder of his vintage camera. "Roubado" was released in 2014 and has been featured in over 50 film festivals, internationally, to date in countries such as: India, Romania, Greece, Belgium, Cameroon, Portugal, Mexico, Germany, Ukraine, the United States, Canada, and Antigua and Barbados. The film is written and directed by Erica A. Watson, and was produced as a graduate thesis film at USC's School of Cinematic Arts. The film stars: Darrell Lake ("The Incredible Life of Darrell"), Jean-Pierre Vertus (“La Fleur d’Haiti”), Mickaëlle X. Bizet ("American Crime"), and Tiffany Tenille ("Suitable").
