On the verge of winter we traveled through the West Fjords of Iceland. Was it a good idea or not?

When you're driving on mountain roads alone in the middle of nowhere in a foreign country and suffer from fear of heights, the surprise winter just hits you a bit differently...

Even though this trip got a uncomfortable memory stamped on it, it will never overshadow the beauty of this country. Here the power of the nature is so palpable, it makes you question your whole worth in this world.

To get to be surrounded by massive volcanic formations, bathe in hot springs watching a gleaming sunset and face the vast emptiness when standing on top of a snowy mountain is a gut twisting experience that I haven't felt anywhere else.

Iceland stole my heart and I don't even want it back. That's where my heart belongs.

In the next video we'll dig deep into our house renovations and see what has happened there during these past couple of months.
