Why Aquaman Isn't White Anymore || With the sequel probably being the last time he plays Aquaman, Jason Momoa did something very special when he starred in Aquaman 2018. Portraying a non-white Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe added a lot more depth to the character in a way that a traditionally white Aquaman never could’ve done -- especially with Aquaman vs Ocean Master -- and caused lots of people to see how much of a hold Americanization, white victimhood, anti-whiteness and even white supremacy had on DC Comics. And I wanna show how.
