The Volvo XC40 Recharge is a small electric SUV offered in single-motor front-wheel drive with 170kW, or dual-motor all-wheel drive with 300kW! On test here is the AWD version that has been very popular in Australia since it launched. The XC40 Pure Electric sells alongside a petrol version of the Volvo XC40 and is related to the Polestar 2.

The XC40 competes with the Tesla Model Y, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV6 and other practical EVs.
